I am an animal chaplain in Minnesota who works with people to help them prepare for, cope with and move on after pet loss. Through that work, as well as during my research for my own book "Good Grief: Finding Peace After Pet Loss," I heard time and again that pet owners were having more difficulty getting over the loss of a beloved animal than they did a human loss. I think this is largely due to our society generally disregarding pet loss as a valid cause for grief and therefore its refusal to give people "permission" to fully grieve. It's vital people have an outlet such as yours to get through this painful process in a healthy manner. Thank you so much!Sid Korpihttp://www.goodgriefpetloss.comnoreply@blogger.com
