Caroline's Kids hosts dinner/auction

Caroline's Kids Cat Rescue will be having a dinner/auction from 6 to 11 p.m. Nov. 5 at the Kirtlander Party Center, 9270 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland.

Proceeds will benefit the 260 cats in the no-kill, free-roam sanctuary in Concord Township. Cost is $40 per person ($17 is tax-deductible) in advance by Oct 29.

Call Judie at 440-449-3496 or send your check for reservations to Caroline’s Kids Pet Rescue, P.O. Box 24068, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.

The event is BYOB, but wash is included in the cost. There will be an Italian dinner and appetizers, and desserts will be included. There will be sideboards along with Chinese and silent auctions. Music will be provided by DJ Ryan Schlessinger.

Donations of Purina, Friskies or Fancy Feast canned or dry cat food, scoopable litter, paper towels, laundry detergent, bleach or gift cards to Petsmart, Pet Supplies Plus, Home Depot or Lowe’s are appreciated but not required. The shelter could also use postage stamps.

If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation to help the cats, please send to Caroline’s Kids Pet Rescue at the above address. Donations are tax-deductible and will go toward daily expenses for the sanctuary cats.
