Those who love their pets tend to enjoy all animals. Our animal owners are no different. Check in on News-Herald staffers Robin Palmer and Cheryl Sadler as they share their own animal tales and announce upcoming events in Lake and Geauga counties.

Ponderings by Picasso

So the city of Highland Heights is forbidding residents to feed "nuisance" animals in their own back yards.

Nuisance animals are considered squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs and deer, and any other wild animals or vermin that wander onto your property.

The city was so gracious to exclude domestic animals from the ordinance.

At least  Fido and Fluffy are safe, for now.

Why are humans so worried about animals?

From my point of view, most of the nuisance in this world is caused by humans.

Yet, we still let you eat.
