Golf club raffle benefits cat groups

Inspired by the success of a raffle in May for a mountain bike she donated to help two area cat rescue groups, Gail Linda Kopp is holding another raffle to help these same groups.

This time Kopp is donating a Callaway Big Bertha golf club.

Kopp, who is the owner of Affordable Jewelry, Coins & Loans in Wickliffe, paid for the item, which is valued at $450.

The drawing will take place at 10:30 a.m. July 29 at the store, 30133 Euclid Ave.

Tickets cost $1 each and the golf club can be viewed at the store prior to the raffle.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

All money raised from the raffle will be divided between the nonprofit organizations Save Our Strays, based in Euclid, and Happy Tails Cat Sanctuary, located in Chester Township.

For more information, call Affordable Jewelry, Coins & Loans at 440-944-8000.
