Funnel is looking for a home

Funnel is about 1 year old and weighs 40 pounds. She is easy to walk — a darling, just beautiful. She needs a real home.

Also, please consider donating food and hot dogs (to hide pills).

For more information on adopting Funnel or making donations, contact the Geauga County Dog Warden, 12513 Merritt Road, Chardon OH 44024; 440-286-8135.

Ponderings by Picasso

So the city of Highland Heights is forbidding residents to feed "nuisance" animals in their own back yards.

Nuisance animals are considered squirrels, raccoons, groundhogs and deer, and any other wild animals or vermin that wander onto your property.

The city was so gracious to exclude domestic animals from the ordinance.

At least  Fido and Fluffy are safe, for now.

Why are humans so worried about animals?

From my point of view, most of the nuisance in this world is caused by humans.

Yet, we still let you eat.
