Geuaga, Lake Humane Societies competing in adoption challenge
Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village is part of the only team in Ohio to compete in the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals 100K National Challenge.
GHS is partnered with Lake Humane Society and with a goal of completing 300 or more adoptions than within the same time period in 2009.
Fifty shelters are competing in this national challenge and the winning shelter(s) will receive $100,000. There is also a $25,000 prize for the shelter that best engages their community.
The 100K Shelter Challenge will take place Sunday through Oct. 31.
