2nd annual Pizza for Paws benefits Lake Humane Society

Eat a pizza and help the animals at Lake Humane Society during the second annual Pizza for Paws, set for April 21-23. Below, more details from a news release:
The 2nd Annual Pizza for Paws will take place Monday, April 21 through Wednesday, April 23 at all Longo's Pizza & Joey's Italian Grille locations. During this event, supporters can purchase a large one-topping pizza for $10 and 100% of their purchase will be donated back to the homeless animals at Lake Humane Society. This fundraiser is a simple and delicious way to help animals in need in Lake County!

Our goal is to raise $10,000 for the animals by selling 1,000 pizzas during this fundraising event. We cannot do it without the support of our community! A donation of that size can help make a difference in the lives of hundreds of injured, abused and abandoned animals. All money raised will go directly towards the general care of the animals at Lake Humane Society.

Participants must present the Pizza for Paws flyer (see below) at the time of their purchase. One voucher per pizza is required. Additional charges may apply for additional toppings. Visit Lake Humane Society’s website to download and print your voucher now. Hang it on your fridge as a reminder, too!

Participating Locations:

Longo’s Pizza (North Mentor): 7314 Lakeshore Boulevard, Mentor

Longo’s Pizza (South Mentor): 8907 Mentor Avenue, Mentor

Joey’s Italian Grille (Chardon): 209 Center Street, Chardon

Joey’s Italian Grille (Madison): 2731 Hubbard Road, Madison

Please save the dates for this fundraiser and plan on having pizza for lunch and/or dinner. Want to help even more? Encourage your place of work to have a “pizza party” for all of their employees to support your local non-profit humane society! Send LHS pictures of your pizza day and you might end up on their Facebook page or website.

We’d like to thank the Longo family for holding this wonderfully generous fundraising event!
