That's a lot of dogs

The Geauga County Dog Warden shelter cares for more than 700 dogs each year.

That's a lot of mouths to feed and a lot to clean up after.

The shelter is in need of laundry detergent as well as peanut butter (to hide pills in) and low-residue dog food (canned food).

If you can donate, drop off items at the shelter, 12513 Merritt Road in Chardon, or call 440-286-8135.

You can also send a monetary donation to the address mentioned above.

Fido, or in this case, Fidos, can use your help.
